国内两高校在2008谷歌国际校园建模大赛中胜出

据 Google 黑板报报道,北京大学和中南财经政法大学在 2008 谷歌国际校园建模大赛中脱颖而出.同时获奖的还有美国约翰·霍普金斯大学、英国卡的夫大学等七所世界知名大学.目前美国有三所高校获奖在获奖数量上排名第一,中国以两所高校紧随其后.

本次比赛共来自 68 个国家的 518 个团队参加,参赛同学使用 Google SketchUp 做出自己学校建筑物的 3D 效果图,然后将其标注在 Google Earth 上,最后将作品上传到谷歌 3D 模型库里(Google 3D Warehouse).两所中国高校能在数百个团队的激烈竞争中最终成为世界大赛获胜者实属不易.

更值得一提的是,中南财经政法大学并不是一个团队参赛,而是由一位 Song Zhi Yong 的同学独立完成了 3D 作品.

下载可以在 Google Earth 中查看的 KML 文件,点击下载完成的文件打开 Google Earth,在右侧 Temporary Places 里找到 2008 International Model Your Campus Competition Winners, 双击打开,再双击获奖院校名字就会自动转到该院校位于 Google Earth 上的位置,并可以查看 3D 模型.
